MEET DR. ALFASI
Medical Director and Pain Specialist
Dr. Alfasi completed his training in neurosurgery and complex spine and peripheral nerve surgery at the University of Ottawa. Continuing to pursue his interest in pain management he went on to complete a pain medicine residency training program at the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Alfasi specializes in chronic pain, spine, and nerve disorders and with this immense knowledge and experience is currently working as a Pain Specialist and Medical Director at the Ottawa Pain and Spine Institute.
MEET Dr. Jean R. Aubry

Dr. Jean R. Aubry, BA, MD, CCFP, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine in 1975 and completed his Family Medicine residency in 1977, serving as Chief Resident. He holds a focused practice in Pain Management with over 50 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal and chronic pain care.
He has advanced training in Orthopaedic Medicine, Acupuncture, prolotherapy, neural therapy, PRP, and integrative pain therapies, and is a founding member of the Canadian Association of Orthopedic Medicine and a pioneer of prolotherapy in Canada. Dr. Aubry provides comprehensive care for acute and chronic pain conditions including spine and joint disorders, headaches, migraines, sports injuries, fibromyalgia, and complex regional pain syndromes.
